The latest collection “GUTTER”, explores the transformative beauty of casting alloy, a material that perfectly complements the grungy, brutalist aesthetic at the heart of my designs. Each piece begins its journey as a polished, silver-toned ring\u2014sleek and reflective. Over time, however, the material reacts uniquely to the pH balance of your skin, evolving into a matte, black-gray finish.<\/p>

This natural patina is not a flaw but a feature\u2014a testament to the passage of time and the personal connection between the piece and its wearer. It\u2019s this transformation that inspired the entire collection, which embodies an underground, edgy style that challenges the polished perfection of traditional jewelry.<\/p>

This collection is the result of an extensive period of material research. I dedicated countless hours to understanding and perfecting how this alloy interacts with its environment, ensuring that every piece reflects both craftsmanship and innovation. Important to know: The casting alloy is not pewter, not pure alumium and certainly not lead. It is en entirely different material of itself. The formation of oxidation is a natural and harmless process that will occur over a short period of time as a result of the wear of the jewelry. This process is not harmfull to your health, even so we do advise you don’t lick your jewelry or let the jewelry come into contact with fresh or raw food.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In some designs, a silver alloy is used to create unique finishes for our jewelry. Initially, these pieces display a polished, golden hue\u2014shiny and reflective. Over time, however, the material begins to patinate, reacting to the pH balance of your skin and the surrounding environment. Over the course of weeks or months, the alloy deepens into a rich, dark bronze tone before finally settling into the beautiful, natural silver color that becomes its permanent state.<\/p>

This transformation is made possible by the composition of the alloy, where the small amount of silver plays a vital role in achieving the final patina and character of the piece. The evolving surface serves as a reminder that even metal is a living material, constantly interacting with its wearer and environment. Most of my jewelry is crafted from stainless steel, a material chosen for its exceptional strength, durability, and polished beauty. Its hardness makes it significantly more scratch-resistant, ensuring that your piece retains its finish even with everyday wear.<\/p>
